First ever Xanga entry, and it's not even a pleasant one...but its one of those times where I just need to vent.

Amongst the most ridiculous and selfish moves my family could make, this one is in the TOP 5.  You ready?

NO THANKSGIVING!

That's right...but the adults tried to compensate, we will have our own Thanksgiving in our separate homes.  As if it's ok to break tradition.  A tradition that has been going on since before I can remember.

This year, we had two gifts given to us.

And along with that, we have another one coming really soon.

Along with that, this is my first semester in college.  This is Kevin's first semester in college.  This is the first time Marcos has ever been away from his home for school.

Sometimes people don't know how their own problems affect other people.  This affects me.  This affects my cousins.  Every year, we do a grab bag, and this is also a tradition that my cousins and I look forward to doing.  We ALWAYS pick names on Thanksgiving day.  Whoever is hosting, we always look forward to getting on the computer and typing up the names that will be included this year.  I even looked forward to taking MY children to Thanksgiving dinner with my family.
